Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon

Playing my (second) original vinyl copy. I was wondering if I needed to buy one of the recent (not so now) remastered 180g copies. I recall being at Cymbiosis when Peter opened and played a brand new copy he’d purchased in the US, which sounded terrific. This is the first time I’ve played this copy since having multiple upgrades on my LP12 and having new speakers, interconnects, speaker cables etc. and it certainly sounds good. The odd crackle here and there, just where I always remembered them. What a great album this was and still is. So many memories, which aren’t so easily triggered when playing a ripped SACD version for some reason.

Hybrid SACD. Felt like some organ music to get the day started.
