Sunday afternoon jackanory - one of the great short stories albums - oh and Scarlet Rivera’s violin - oh and Joey sits like Buddha in a 10 foot cell. A Bobster classic - am I alone in finding Sara a tad mawkish tho?
Why? Because Bruce Cockburn doesn’t get enough mention here. This album ‘The Charity Of Night’ is a fine example of this Canadians talents.

Couldn’t agree more. My go-to album is Dancing in the Dragon’s Jaws. Should anyone be interested to dig deeper the boxset “Rumours of Glory” has many highlights from his back catalogue.
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. 1968, remastered at Abbey road in 1990. Lovely imho.
