Too many great artists gone of late. Remembering Terry Hall with this one, what a great track Our Lips are Sealed is.

A Christmas present from my son, really deserves a few listens and a look at the lyrics.

A great new young female voice.

Scott, unlike many of his peers, had a good 1980s. Although he only made one solo album, it was great. Here it is on vinyl:

Karen Souza essentials. Thanks @London_r, haven’t played this for quite a while. Her presentation is very laid back and relaxing indeed.

The studio version of this album is outstanding. Particularly the track Starless and Bible Black.

This version live in Hamburg with the addition of Kenny Wheeler takes it to a different level.

Robert Plant / Alison Krauss - Raising Sand.

Robert Plant / Alison Krauss - Raise the Roof.

It’s either the outstanding production on these two albums, or it’s that my ageing ears have finally decided to work today, but they are sounding absolutely lush, this evening, Chez Dave.

Bacon and eggs, fish and chips, Percy and Alison … … … some things just belong together.

Scott only made one album in the 1990s as well – Tilt. But it was even better than Climate Of Hunter.
