Well if you’ve got it…:joy:

Paul Young - The Secret Of Association

Digging out records from my old original collection, giving them a clean and a play, in some cases for the first time in well over 20 years. I’m also rather impressed how well I looked after my records way back when, although a few covers have seen better days :grinning:

Bob Dylan. Another side of.
Alphabetically chosen by the iPod.

“There stood Rita looking just like Tony Perkins. “
It’s took me over 50 years to get that joke.

More on the bongs:

There was a piece on PM on yesterday afternoon. Some listeners noted that the sound had changed from the pre 2017 sound. The sound now seemed ‘a bit muffled.’ There was a suggestion that the mics were in the wrong place, needed moving etc.

PM got the bloke in responsible for the fixing of the clock. He said that the change in sound was down to wear in the gear mechanism and hammers. These parts have now been replaced. The sound now is as the Victorians would have heard it.

Tony Allen on Blue Note

The Source (Blue Note 2LP)

Nice Funk and Jazz grooves underpinned by Tony Allen’s fine Afrobeat drum style. Recorded live to analogue tape.

Tribute To Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers (Blue Note 10" LP)

What it says, Tony Allen Afrobeat interpretations of Blakey.
Blakey

Also recorded live to analogue tape.

Enjoyed the first side at 33 then remembered its a 45, sounds great either way :joy:

Does that version have Crabsody In Blue, a dodgy song about pubic critters. I used to have an early pressing with it but I think it was removed from subsequent editions.
Maybe one for one of our Aussie members, @Pete_the_painter ?
