Natalie Merchant, leave your sleep. Almost two hours long but thoroughly enjoyed it. ![]()
A wonderful album of Wyatt interpretations - for some reason continental Europe seems to appreciate our peculiarly English special talents (Kevin Coyne being another) more than we do ourselves.
My favourite Dan album. From 1976, this is the sensational US Santa Maria pressing, cut by Brian Gardner at Allen Zentz Mastering. It’s cut slightly hot, so no smooth-sounding record this, which is fine as it suits the material perfectly.

Following some threads based on Tidal’s recommendations - enjoying this so far.
Natalie Merchant, butterfly. Enjoyed leave your sleep so much I followed up with this. She looks worried on the cover. ![]()
I do hope this album, with its splendid cover of “On Broadway”, will be the next in LITA’s Nancy Sinatra Archive series.
Wrote the songs, played all the instruments, produced the album and painted the cover. Always had a soft spot for Wood, a pop maestro imo. CD rip.
Nancy Sinatra, start walkin’ 1965-1976. Joining @TheKevster on some Nancy Sinatra magic. ![]()
Having a second listen to Peter Gabriel’s i/o.
I love it haven’t worked if I prefer the bright side or dark.
My first
It’s a cracker
Tried Peter Gabriel’s new one, but not getting on with that tonight.
Resorted to some good-time rock n roll!
