Grant Green - Green Street (1961).
I’ve had this on CD for years, but avoided the record as used ones fetch silly money. This 2023 edition was released yesterday and I’m thrilled to have a copy now.
My favourite jazz guitarist from the era, his playing is sublime, full of feeling and he makes it sound so relaxed and easy.

“The Eagles began recording their third album in England with producer Glyn Johns, as they had their first two albums, but abandoned the sessions after completing two acceptable tracks. Johns, it is said, tended to emphasize the group’s country elements and its harmonies, while the band, in particular Glenn Frey and Don Henley, wanted to take more of a hard rock direction”. WIKI.
