The first solo album from Epica lead singer Simone Simons entitled Vermillion released today 23 Aug
Why:
Well, I like Simone Simons.
But, also this is a collaboration with Arjen Lucassen who wrote all the music, his partner Lori Lindstrom, who together with Simone wrote the vocals.
Reminiscent of Ayreon(well lots of the personnel are Ayreon) but suitably different and I’m enjoying it so much might even release the wallet moths.

I listened to this this afternoon.
Was decent symphonic rock. I need to give it another more focused listen.
Missing these guys in my collection……though i luvved them way back. Some sweet guitars and vocals, and Ginger under control😂
