Their 3rd album, their first remains their best imo, but this is great and Doc Pomus get’s involved. Willy can really deliver a ballad. Uniti Core.

Heard Alexander Armstrong play some of this on Classic FM this morning. I hadn’t realised that the Guitar was old enough for Vivaldi to have written music specifically for it.
It was quite lovely though. I’ll try and get around to playing it tomorrow or Thursday if I remember.
We did have a nice afternoon with our game of Classical tag though Ian. Thank you for playing along. :+1:t4:

I have this on vinyl, bought it when it was originally released.

Found it a bit disappointing. I’m no guitarist, but I always thought Jan Ackerman was playing out of time.

Clairo – Charm

Enjoyable indie pop album.

I’m no expert, although I dabble on guitar, and I had not noticed Ackerman playing out of time. But one thing that did strike me, was the faster tempo some of the numbers were performed at. You could be right? For the time though, it’s well recorded and enjoyable all the same.

One of my top ten favourite albums of all time. I agree with you that the vinyl cut is better than any digital version that I have heard!
