Roy Orbison | Crying | 1962
I tripped over this one, totally forgetting I had it in the library. Who could ever mistake the great man’s voice. This is a a good quality recording.
Prince Come / 1994 Warner / US CD / 9457002
Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble | Couldn’t Stand The Weather | 1984
More fine music by a great guitarist taken from us way too early by a terrible accident.
Prince - Emancipation. I only own a smattering of albums by Prince, as the ones I have I find a little bit inconsistent. This one, though, I think is terrific and, considering it’s a 3-CD album, the songs are remarkably high in quality. Released after the end of his dispute with his record company (hence the album title).
