This could be my all time favourite album… but at the cost of being one of those memory-impression albums that can instantly transport oneself back almost the half century ago to a different worldly time of intense emotions and teenage angst ![]()
Drank many a cup of flying tea to the strains of this, back when. How are you doing, btw?
Doing ok getting back on track, thank you for asking. @Rigsby21
Now Playing…
Fink’s - Sunday Night Blues Dubs
Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/24)… kicking off this Thursday morning with a first play of ‘Sunday Night Blues Dubs’ … Something I have not listened to previously and thought I would give it a listen… Life is Sweet!
Ozric Tentacles | Strangeitude | 1991
Staying weird… well why not? Some of my favourite music from that scene back in the day.
You’re in for a treat @seakayaker !!
I’ve not heard any of the tracks in advance of the albums release but it’s fair to say it’ll be the first thing I listen to as soon as it appears on Qobuz.
Strangeitude is just a fantastic album. I may have to dig out my slightly battered vinyl later today
Go for it Graeme, we are only old once! @GraemeBC
This is a fabulous new recording, released last month, of Bach’s Cello Suites 1 and 2, bookended with pieces by Hume and Abel. The cello sound is wonderful.
Daryl Hall John Oates - Ooh Yeah!, first play, as I bought this today for the princely sum of 50p. Wow, it seems they have thrown every known '80’s recording technique at this. Unmistakenly Hall & Oates though.
I’ve heard Love insurrection and Deep Dark Waters, which I think are pretty good ![]()
