Lana Del Ray - Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd - CD
Mari’s 1973 album on Three Blind Mice. A reference recording with stunning sound.
Sounds like a really good book, I’ll keep an eye out. What does it say for rush?
Hawkwind - Xin Search of Space.
Played in tribute to a lady I recently met who died between xmas and new year.
Never got to discuss music due to circumstances but after she died her sister told me she was at Hawkwinds 1970 Port Talbot gig and run away to London with them - becoming a hell raising hippy rock chick…
@Tony Just checked my CD of Belsta River - it was packed as ‘In Stockholm’ with the album Small World.
Despite the cover this is Gabor in mainly electric mode and recorded five years earlier in 1972 in Stockholm.
The ‘In Stockholm’ double album 16 bit is available on Qobuz for £7.99
Bob Dylan - Desire
Following Blood On the Tracks which I was playing yesterday. Also following on chronologically as it happens. His two best albums IMHO. This was where I first knowingly heard Emmylou. This album fills me with a warm glow inside (metaphorically, of course!).
The Magnetic Fields,69 Love Songs ,triple cd from 2000 ,as the title suggests,69 songs about love taking in various types of music, very entertaining.
Bob Dylan - Planet Waves
Sigur Rós - Átta
Giving it another spin to see if it stirs anything this time as earlier listens never really grabbed me.
Prompted by seeing those fantastic guitarists posted up earlier … Gabor/King/SRV
Some live Roy Buchanan from a 1976 concert.
What am i listening to in 2024,well Naims streaming service provider V,tuner went down Christmas Day, not even an apology from Naim, totally shocking
