A young Clang Clang/Barenboim. Tchaikovsky and Mendelssohn. Very enjoyable.
Harold Budd - The Pavillion Of Dreams - 1978
Not played any HB for a while, this is pretty timeless imo.
It not comprehensive unfortunately Rush are not in the list.
@QuickSticks may be able to help with which classical composer would suit a Rush fan.
The wonder of Bob playing his own stuff. So many have played his songs and have taken them to a different level, a good song imo.
I always remember hearing “All along the watchtower” by Jimi……thought he had wrote it.
On this great set of concerts you get Bob’s version.
Very talented - saw her on Jools Holland’s New Year’s show.
My response to the question about what music I like, I’d always answer Mozart to Maiden, Prokofiev to Rush.
That didn’t mean I was comparing rush to Prokofiev though. If I were to make that connection I might say Sibelius. All the twiddly bits…

That’s on right now. One of the more memorable gigs I saw in London back then
Barry Gibb was one of the primo songwriters of the era. I love that album, among others of theirs.
Donald Byrd - Black Byrd. This was Blue Note’s best selling album for a number of years, and justly so, imo.
The first track ‘ Bismillahi 'Rrahman 'Rrahim’ with Marion Brown on saxophone is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written.
Just incredible.
