Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band - BRSB. Deeply funky, dub influenced originals and covers of hip-hop tracks. The steel pan is used just enough to add a flavour, but not so much that it detracts from the overall groove. Good stuff.

Gary Peacock - Tales of Another
From 1977 another ECM essential from the Qobuz sale for a couple of quid in Hi Res.
This trio of Gary Peacock, Jack Dejohnette and Keith Jarrett would go on to form the classic line up.
The album does feature Keith Jarrett on ‘vocals’.
