Ethnic Heritage Ensemble - Open Me, A Higher Consciousness of Sound and Spirit. 70 year old percussionist Khalil El Zabar and his talented ensemble create a hypnotic jazz groove. This isn’t getting the chores done, but who cares when the music’s this good.

Would have been Townes 80th birthday yesterday. Born March 7th 1944 - Died January 1st 1997 (aged 52) Probably wrote the saddest song ever recorded ‘ Tecumseh Valley’.
