What are you listening to in 2024 and why might anyone be interested?

The mains sockets are outside the wall cavity, and plug into the back of the electronic equipment, all the rest of the mains cabling is inside the wall cavity.

(I think that I’ll leave everything else to Members to figure out for themselves!)

Chet Baker - Chet Baker Sings (2023 repress, Tone Poet Series)

I’m mostly a metal guy as you can tell by what I usually post here but when I do throw on some blues/jazz it’s usually Chet Baker that piques my fancy. There’s something eminently listenable about Chet, a richness that washes over you in waves that belies the melancholic epistles that spool out from his lips.

Unsurprisingly this is an impeccable pressing, with a reach-and-touch-it realism despite the age of the recording with vinyl that is ruler-flat and dead quiet.
