What are you listening to in 2024 and why might anyone be interested?

Still stuck in a nostalgia timewarp, Chez Dave, and The Specials are fitting the bill nicely.

The Beautiful South - Welcome To The Beautiful South
Song For Whoever on this album is a favourite, the bass comes in at about 1 min 30 and it sounds great.

It’s certainly not country on the whole. It lacks memorable songs for the most part and in places it’s an absolute mess. Have concluded that it’s an EP i.e. the single and 3 other tracks.

I say this as someone who loves Lemonade.

The Best of Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac | 2002
My favourite Mac era with Peter Green, this album picks out some good ones if you don’t have the time to delve into Greeny’s Mac back catalogue. A perfect accompaniment while I finish off the slow cooked lamb shoulder and some bits over the next hour or so.
