Beck - Sea Change. I think I bought this shortly after it came out and I don’t think I’ve listened to it more than a few times. A sure sign that it didn’t grab me at the time. Anyway, plucked it off the shelf this afternoon with no great expectations but, to my complete surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Pulled this one out whist I was in the F section, a compilation of early singles by The Fall and the irascible genius that was their leader, the late great Mark E. Smith

About to perform their last gigs before they call it a day which is a shame, but Mrs KJH and I will be in Gorilla, Manchester early next month to give them a good send off.

The CD box was much smarter with each single and B side housed in cardboard replicas of the original single art work.
