One of my favourite Byrds album with Younger Than Yesterday
The Byrds - The Notorious Byrd Brothers
David Crosby was to be in the fourth window but left the band so they replaced him with a horse.

That album is an absolute classic - Albert is on fire and any album where he mentions his bunions has to be heard.
Its such dry humour and a great cover
Only bettered on the Poco album when Randy Meisner left and was replaced by a dog on the album cover.
Fabulous picture Steve your P6 looks great
Years ago a mate had a P3 and totally went to work on it.
He had the arm rewired and the arm lead.Changed the counterweight and a new motor and belt. And a new powersupply.
He sprayed it gold and gave it to his fiance as a present.
It sounded absolutely amazing when he brought it to mine for a music night .With Bryston amps and AE1 speakers.Everything was so focused in the soundstage.
Hope all is well and you had a good Christmas break
Cheers Ian
A great way of listening to early Yello. 1980-85: The New Mix In One Go. Original 1986 double vinyl - sounds incredible, with quite astonishing dynamic range. Another good reason for having it on vinyl is that uber-cool gatefold portrait of Dieter and Boris in Cuba, taken by Anton Corbijn.
Late dinner tonight. Just time to fit in a bit of Albert King ( put in my mind by @AlanP). Live album, ‘Live Wire, Blues Power’, the 24/192 remaster on Qobuz. Brilliant isn’t the only word for it, but it’ll do.
More electronica, this time by the mighty Throbbers and their meisterwerk “20 Jazz Funk Greats”. This is the TG-approved 2014 vinyl reissue.
Carla is one of those artists who is very much missed. Mr Swallow too.
