Try ‘Over The Top’ if you have it. This was the first, and to my mind the best, of this era of Cozy Powell solo albums released in 1979. The band also played on the OGWT to promote the album in January 1980. This is on YouTube I think.
Me as well.
Andy can I double check with you. Is this a 3cd set plus 1 blue ray audio/video. The big river is a bit vague. Graham
Myrkur, Spine (2023) Amalie Bruun blends ‘dark folk’ with black metal. The name of her band means ‘darkness’ in several Nordic languages. English ‘murk’ is cognate for which we can probably thank the Vikings.
Thanks Andy. Ordered.
It might be easier if I just hand my wallet over to members of the community.
A lovely 3 CD of the complete Vivaldi Oboe Concertos perfect with coffee and cake after gardening since 8 this morning
The late Michael Chapman was a really underrated singer-songwriter I think, and this is my favourite album of his. “Aviator” and “Soulful Lady” are absolute classics. Must get this on vinyl one of these days.
Myrkur Mareridt (2017) Continuing my Amalie Bruun morning, one screaming track but plenty of lyrical songs too. Title is Danish for ‘nightmare’.
