Combining jazz and metal seems a bit far fetched. But it’s actually what this band is doing. I got the last days a bit into them, and I like how they are pulling it of. Have a listen if you are up for some music which needs attention (not running in the background).

Laurie Styvers - Gemini Girl: The Complete Hush Recordings (2023). Includes both of her albums (Spilt Milk, 1972, and The Colorado Kid, 1973) plus demos etc. Did little at the time, and she quit the music scene. She died in 1998, having spent her later years caring for animals.
