I went to the Saturday afternoon as my first Yes show. I very much enjoyed it although i remember it was rather odd coming out into daylight afterwards. I have a similar cassette tape somewhere, along with many other great live recordings off the radio from around then up to the early 1990s.
I think that Nic Jones doesn’t own the copyright of From the Devil to a Stranger which has never been reissued. I suspect there isn’t a digital version. The Noah’s Ark Trap is another one.
Bryan Ferry. 1994. An amazing list of famous musicians on here and it sounds really wonderful. The only thing lacking is some really good songs imho.
A deeply devotional approach to an album of covers.
Incredibly produced, a hyper vivid blend of studio effects, whilst also giving air and space to Jim’s supreme calling card: his voice.
Tribute to 2/Jim James. (2017).
The house of Love- self titled debut - Vinyl. Think this debut and the Butterfly Album are both cracking listens.
Banco de Gaia - Last Train To Lhasa - 1995
Some nice ambient mixes on the special edition of this downtempo electronica classic …. and a lovely golden glow outside. Very atmospheric.
Keith Hudson - Flesh of My Skin, Blood of My Blood - Vinyl. Vinyl always feels just right for reggae/dub.
Just moved a big collection to my Melco’s and beyond…, this was one of the albums…., realized I should have split it in two books….
Trio Mediaeval Folk Songs ECM 2007

Ballads, lullabies and hymns sung in Norwegian.
A favourite book of mine, my children and my granddaughter. You very quickly know it by heart

Streamed on Qobuz (48/24)… busy for the past couple of days and kicked off the late morning with Florence + the Machine and the music sounded sublime!
Harold McNair - The Fence
From 1970, sadly a month later Harold would pass away.
There are a couple of halves playing on the album. Half of Blind Faith with Steve Winwood and Rick Grech and almost half of Pentangle with Danny Thompson and Terry Cox (I see he passed away a week ago).
Throw in Keith Tippett to top it off.
All for only £3.49 for the flac 16bit download on 7digital
Very poignant from many years ago - saw it on a random YouTube music playlist last night.
Must investigate this band further, I’ve watched their ‘Wash it all away’ video numerous times and it’s really good.
Now playing…
