What are you listening to in 2026 and why might anyone be interested?

Ronnie Lane died this day in 1997, this my favourite song by him, a love song about missing his dad, and the struggles of living in London. His mum unknown to the family had MS, looked after by dad, Ronnie succumbed to MS after a long battle. Bless him.

An underrated English prog rock band who’ve knocked out some fine albums in their time.

Tim Buckley - Greetings From LA

I remember buying this album from the Virgin megastore at the top of Oxford St when Tim Buckley albums were only available as imports and cost a fortune - well about £8.

I remember queuing it up on the turntable and hearing the first track. Thinking this is it, just incredible.

Another in the series of love the album so much I bought the T-Shirt.

Ray LaMontagne - Part Of The Light

I don’t know why but it’s been years since I last listened to Ray LaMontagne… managed to get through all his albums the last day or so. Loved them. Won’t be leaving it so long next time!
