Santana Brothers, Carlos with brother Jorge and nephew Carlos Hernandez, some decent instrumentals, as you might expect. Backed by the then current Santana band.

This is an early album from the trumpeter Arve Henriksen, Chiaroscuro. Very avant garde jazz, and very fine indeed.

I’m not religious, but I like to listen to Psalms for I when he recites psalms over a heavy dub track. I have fond memories of listening to Prince Far I on the John Peel show on a transistor while lying in bed. The sacred herb was a feature of the sessions!

A Wonderful album
When it was remixed and remastered, I only bought the Caruso track. I like this version far more than the original and have since tried (without any luck) to buy the rest of the tracks or find a CD of the later release. Sadly, I don’t play the original CD anymore, because I know what I’m missing.
