Lots of fresh ginger and chilli. Szechuan peppercorns.
Roasted chicken bones and fat juices. Lime juice.

A simple tomato pasta sauce made with sliced and fried allotment courgette. As courgettes can be a bit bland, the sauce is zhuzhed up with anchovy fillets (cooked down with the onions), chili flakes, red wine vinegar and basil

Those noodles look too thin to be Udon Noodles.

Why? The more cheese the merrier for me - makes up for the carbs!

This really doesn’t do it justice but why have I only recently discovered ‘cannon of lamb’?

Mixture of ribeye (lower right) and cannon of lamb (top of plate - already wolfed most of it) this evening with roasted veggies and new potatoes. Did I mention the incredible Aldi butter?

Rack of lamb without bone?

Cannons of lamb are lovely but hard to get hold of - most go to the restaurant trade. They are simply the meat part from a rack of lamb kept in one piece. Sear in a pan, finish in the oven - lovely!

All down to personal taste but I find too much cheese makes the pizza a bit oily

Dinners that we have had over the last few days. Firstly a spicy chicken wrap with salsa, guac and salad, and then a chicken, bacon and mushroom papperdelle, with a sprinkle of red chilli. Plenty of wine with both.
