500 pages. Should keep me busy.
A wonderful book, brings back so many memories. I shopped at many of the retailers in this book, mostly in London, Kent, Hastings, Brighton and Manchester.

Good book - but a bit disappointed that Mole Jazz’s iconic bag didn’t get a look in. Trunk seeming to be mining this collection for their t-shirts of late.
A classic - love her book The White Album and Play It As It Lays - just seen the new cover for the latter.
Added to my buy list, thanks!
This looks interesting - let us know what you think of it.

Will do,only started it today .
Picked them up yesterday from our local library.
Interestingly enough, the books were acquired while Greene was still alive.
Just purchased on kindle for .99p.
Sadly the last book from this master.
Not read yet,on the virtual bookshelf, but sometimes these bargains do not last for long.
Does anyone still read Dennis Wheatley any more?
I read loads in my younger days, as did friends, but I never see his books in charity or s/h shops.

They are very dated and un pc when you read them now. I liked them in my youth but when i reread them they were not great
Certainly true but the same could also be said about a lot of ‘classic’ literature…

Indeed, they, just like us, were a product of their times
