What does the cake emoji I see after some people’s name signify?

I’m seeing this after some people’s names

Either I haven’t noticed it before or it is relatively new, but I’ve no idea what it might mean?

More interesting is why some don’t have it.

It identifies members who have been identified as having their cake AND eating it

It means that you might still need to reflect on your food choices over the Christmas season.

Alternatively, you have been an active visitor to the forum during the past year.

I just got a Regular badge in November, so it could be that. Mine is level 3 apparently.

It’s the Discourse “Cakeday” emoji. It appears to mark the anniversary of when you originally joined this forum. This new forum was started in January 2019 with some members invited to ‘beta test’ it a week or so before the official launch, so you should expect to see a lot of cakes appearing this month…

Anyone else ended up in a discussion whether Jaffa Cakes are Cakes or Biscuits?

Biscuits. I’ve never seen one with a candle in it… :candle: :birthday_cake:

According to the outcome of a 1991 VAT case, it was found that Jaffa Cakes are indeed, cakes. Much hinged on the fact that Jaffa Cakes contain cake ingredients and, perhaps more importantly, like cakes, they go hard when they go stale, whereas biscuits go soft.

What about Kendall Mint Cake then?

Don’t think that has cake ingredients.
