Hi all. I currently have quad 33 and 405 with Mission 781s in the shed. I also have just inherited a lovely TD 124 mk2 from my late father. I have nearly decided on the Naim Muso 2 (for the house) and wonder what phono stage would be suitable. I don’t have an unlimited pot to spend and also I don’t really have stereo ears any more but want the power and versatility that the muso offers. Helpful hints gratefully accepted!
Hi and welcome. This will depend upon what cartridge you’ve got on the Thorens? If you’re not looking to spend a lot the Project Phono S2 comes in at £130 and is switchable for MC and MM cartridges.
