What power lead is this for?

Morning all
My brother has just given me this,
Which unit is this from?
Is that box some kind conditioner?
Thanks

Tried the search could not find this one,

I am guessing as I don’t have it any more, but I thought the supply for my Uniti Serve had such a lead.

And me, been trolling the web,
Found a few pics of the Uniti serve, with this lead,
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction,
Could I use this on my CB kit?
Is it worth it,?
Thanks

Not sure, but I think there is some sort of ferrite in there … harmless; you can use it on all the CB kit

I also suspect there are just ferrites in that box. Uniti serve has a switch mode PSU, so i suspect the ferrites were added to try and mitigate any EMI originating from the PSU getting back into the mains.

This is indeed a Unitiserve lead with a ferrite ring in the plastic box, added due to the fact that it uses a switching power supply. There’s no reason you couldn’t use it on anything else that requires a standard IEC mains lead.
