Yet again Bob & Co deliver with another collection of long requested sessions. Only 3 CDs this time but at £18.99 the price is spot on. Compare this with the recent Peter Gabriel offering at £33 for a digital only release.
Only gripe is cover art is appalling. But one set I’m looking forward to.
Expensive few weeks ahead with this the Beatles and Bowie boxsets.
II Yes Conversation Piece a 5CD set of the remixed Space Oddity and demos (those we saw released earlier this year on vinyl only) plus others which could be interesting - out on the 25th November.
Appears the next box set instalment of the Bowie catalogue we normally see this time of the year has been delayed awaiting resolution of a royalty dispute by the Tin Machine members.
Now seems the Bowie estate has hit on the idea of 50th anniversary releases. Hence this box set and next year the Man Who Sold The World I guess.
This appeared out of nowhere and the release date seems a bit vague. Appears the album will be released on the digital platform on 4th October coming in two parts. Then a two cd release and double album on 8th November.
