Check out the Steve Hoffman forum thread ‘Brilliant Live Adventures’. There’s loads of information about the f**k up that these releases are.
If you don’t get your order in the first 18 hours the vinyl is gone, two days later probably the cd too. 4000 vinyl and 6000 cd’s produced, seemingly.
Thanks, will do,what a situation, why the exclusivity? They must know what the demand would be,and the money they could make! Seems nonsensical.
Hi all, quick update on 3rd release in live albums from Bowie. I couldn’t track down this release yesterday,as Kevster had said it seemed to be sold out. However today I ordered the vinyl/cd bundle from Rhino.com,in fact courtesy of a glitch in the system I’ve inadvertently ordered two bundles ! Anyway just a heads up for anyone that was looking for it .
Is that from US, if so what is the shipping costs?
$49 as opposed to the UK Dig site at £32, quite a difference
Yes from US,$15 postage on top,but needs must, would end up paying a lot more on the bidding site !
Yes, and it’s two fingers up to the flippers!
Glad you got it though and I’d’ve done the same in your shoes.
Tempted by this, one of my favourite Band albums, have an original USA import bought at the time, I took two copies back as they were badly warped, third one just about OK. I was at the 71 Royal Albert Hall gig, well one of them, included here. Recorded the gig onto cassette by dangling a microphone over the edge of one of the boxes in the RAH. Chest Fever was I remember wonderful, they had some kind of Quad sound system Garth Hudson’s organ swirling around the hall!

A deluxe set celebrating 45th Anniversary of the release of the album. Contains a remastered album by Alan Parsons, second disc of outtakes and a Live album recorded in 76.
Aretha Franklin. This was due out just before Xmas but has got put back in the release schedule until July next year. Hope they have looked at the track listing again as if they release the proposed original set then can’t see it selling much. For completists only methinks.
Thanks for the heads up…good to hear a new one from Justin et al.
I’m seeing original album plus second and third CDs of live show - no outtakes other than an earlier recording Belsize Blues - yet another remastered Year of the Cat for my collection but at £50 maybe too much - I guess Alan Parsons comes at a premium.
Just ordered, off the bay.

Whoops, wrong thread!
Your right. I only had a passing glance at New Years release schedule and picked it up wrongly.
