I saw The Clash at the Rainbow. I quite like the area, but I did used to live there so I’m biased!
Used to be a great little reggae record shop opposite the station, and the lefty bookshop round the corner. Probably all changed now.
And the red light area on Queens Drive. One of the girls used to dress in Lincoln Green like Robin Hood.
Sigh…all long gone.

I saw chuck a few times once he came on after midnight lucky i came by car.
Basie once. Also gary glitter i must of been drunk. The band was good he was dreadful
I also like Apollo Manchester i saw the beach boys there. But a rather unsavoury area
