Cherry Fraim base and long legged level, either as separate turntable table or to generate split twin stack.
Not as pricey as HiLine or Superlumina😇
Excellent stuff. We bought ours before the white stable thing was available. The gang are now in their proper position. The ivy was Mrs HH’s idea and I’m not convinced. Next year I plan to add the camel.
Oh yes, like how you have arranged them, love the Angels, don’t tell Mrs HH, I agree with you about the Ivy.
I was just notified that my NSS333 just arrived. I am on vacation right now but am hoping to pick it up on Dec 27. I cannot wait to see how it compares to my NDX2/XPSDR. It will be a nice Christmas gift to myself!
Sad that Hagel audio doesn’t provide streamers. Only amps, pre, and cd players.
If someone has time to do it, it would be interesting to count which member has bought the most components during 2025.
Something tells me it’s BB. BB as BEST BUYER.

I bought quite a bit in 2025:

- Z-Foil resisters from AVOptions for the phono loading cards
- AVOptions XLR/DIN5 Y cable
- Clearaudio Master Innovation turntable
- Clearaudio 9” Tracer Tonearm
- Rewired two Clearaudio 12” Universal tonearms with silver litz and DIN termination
- Koetsu Rosewood LOMC (used, for cost of repair)
- Lyra Phono Pipe DIN/XLR phono cable (free)
- Siltech Classic Legend 380i DIN/XLR phono cable x 2
- Siltech Classic Legend 380p power cable
- Clearaudio Terra (ground station)
- HRS EXR 21” x 19” 3-shelf rack (x 2)
- HRS R3X 21” x 19” isolation base
- HRS M3X2 21” x 19” isolation base
- HRS Damping Plate (for Boulder)

- REL S/510 sub (x 4, for a six-pack)

As part of that I also eliminated/retired some gear:

- Powerline x 2
- NDX2
- XPS-DR (still for sale)
- HiLine DIN5-5
- Two full four-shelf brain/brawn Fraim racks (I still need to grade and list)
- Clearaudio Innovation turntable (dealer trade-in)
- HRX R3X 19” x 17” isolation base (dealer trade-in)
I think that’s it. Other than a cable or two I have nothing planned for 2026, unless I get another windfall.
I respectfully disagree. I’ve listened to the 101 and the 025. I much prefer the Naim sound over Vitus. But this is what it’s all about right, we want different things from hifi.
I bought quite a lot in 2025, as both systems were practically completely replaced.
I’m not keen to count it up and identify all the changes, as I’m sure the total will only upset me…![]()
I’ve owned this and did not like it one bit. It robs the system of its zest and energy. Dynamics are compromised. Avoid is my best advice.
Too late…let’s see the list. Put it up! ![]()
I’m glad that you enjoy that old cable design over superduper modern Ansuz ![]()
This isn’t so much gear as it it to support using gear. I don’t like using a brush on records if I don’t have to, but sometimes I put a clean record on and it has debris, fibers, fuzz I want to eliminate before it gets trapped on the stylus, making removal harder and more risky.
I have used one of those Giotto Rocket air blasters photographers use for lenses, but they can intake moisture and dust and blow it right on the record surface. On the recommendation of a chemist who wrote the book on aqueous cleaning of records I bought this one instead. It’s just like the Giotto but has a HEPA filter to eliminate moisture and dust on air intake.
And it’s just about $10 more costly than the regular Giotto.
Like I’ve said already I own one and it has neither added nor taken away anything in my system.
This is probably why listening to high end audio and preferences about what is ‘good’ and ‘nice’ are so personal.
The 101 was a blind purchase but made after long consideration. My speakers are very power hungry and probably that plays a large part in why the sound is so much better now.
I do have to say, after the initial wow there were a few days in which I really had to get used to the new sound; sometimes it was almost too clinical, too much “in your face”. But things have settled down, my brain adjusted to the new tunes and I play at lower volumes now with much improved clarity.
So much so that friends who visit my place notice ‘something’ has changed in the sound (for the better ;). I still have the fraim stack with all the boxes in my living room, just without the green lights… I do find it difficult to tear down and put on the marktet.
Oh, didn’t thought the list was so long for you.
You can compete then with @Blackbird : perhaps 6 different Ansuz cables, different power cords, Superlumina, Limetree bridge, Nait 50, 333, then 300 ps, then 555 dr. Must have forgotten some, quite sure.
