Ah that’s good - yes I can relate to how upgrades within the naim hierarchy give greater tonal accuracy. It will be interesting to hear if you upgrade to the 333 in the future. You could always try a used 555psdr on your ndx2 as a cheaper alternative…

Recent home trial of these power leads recommended by my dealer has resulted in 3 being purchased. About half the price of a Powerline (new). And also the Chord Powehaus S6 (all UK plugs). The electricity going into my 3 Naim boxes should now be much better than it was (no appetite/scope for dedicated mains).

Only for nostalgia, I can listen to my cassettes collection that haven’t been touched a few decades. I like the idea of ‘We are rewind’ by providing a pencil for manually rewind or forward. The player sounds quite nice though, better than I expected.

AudioQuest RCA Caps - Noise stopper for unused RCA connectors
To the touch and visually they are very nice.
I feel there is less noise in the empty phono selector, but now faintly picking up a radio station.
Obviously one more item able to collect dust.
To my ears nothing else has changed in the stream or aux selectors.
I am very excited about how it develops after the burn in period.

Today I received my SH NAC252/SuperCap DR combination to replace my NAC282! To upgrade my NAP200 DR I was in need of a Power Supply Unit for my NAC282 but was not looking forward to purchase first one and then another HiCap DR (which are rare!). The SuperCap DR is even more rare, so when opportunity came knocking I had to jump in! And now I even own a NAC252! A few hours in I’m certainly hearing some difference, though not night and day yet. Coming days I hope to be even more happy than I am already 
! Next stop NAP300 DR instead of NAP250 DR???

300DR. The 252/SCDR blossoms with the 300DR. The 250DR holds it back a bit.
The New Classic 250 is also brilliant with the 252/SCDR. IMHO it’s an even better match.

Just last evening i managed to “lay” my hands (although virtually) on a Uniti Core with a 8TB drive. Going to re-RIP my CD collection and then put that lot into storage.

Well did that with the ill performing Uniti Star in october last year, but rather do it again now, because allthough my USB SSD drive is within the numerical limits set by naim (Max 1 TB, 16700 files), it still causes the signal to drop, and searching on the drive is a pain in the *ss. So I hope that this sorts it.
