I’ve eliminated hum on my Rega with MM by grounding from the Neo via a chassis screw to the SN3 ground post. I think I mentioned this before, but it’s a near free solution to the MM hum issue.
MC carts do not hum on the Rega, so that’s also a solution as you’ve experienced.
I tried the grounding wire, as you describe, but regrettably it didn’t help. I have an Apheta on order and when it arrives I’ll see how things work. Hum aside, it’s a better match, though the Exact is sounding great.

There are no connections between the two. I look up to Palme and find Lucifer rather amusing.

I aquired my Ittok probably back on 1988! I had new ceramic bearings and rewiring in 2019. I’ll report back in a few days. My test LPs are Van Morrison, Supertramp and Pink Floyd.

New pair of Kudos Titan 505’s arrived yesterday. They sound great ‘out of the box’ so looking forward to hearing the final performance once fully run in.
Look fantastic in Red Tineo finish and, aside from the inevitability fiddly process of assembling the (very heavyweight) stands - at least they don’t require further ballasting and are already filled with anti-ringing foam, nothing whatsoever to complain about.
