What was the last concert / gig you attended?

And I wasn’t criticising your post either. I just like to know where things are located, especially in the thread ‘Nice Photos’. After all this forum has members from many different countries.

Keep posting - thanks!

Tim Minchin at Nottingham Royal Centre tonight, sounding glorious.

And now Nine Inch Nails at the Co-op Arena in Manchester. Good sound and setup but £9 a pint!

Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, Glasgow. A night of widdly diddly excellence.

Why limit yourself a maximum of 12 strings per guitar when you can have 12, 7 and 4 strings all at once? That is one ugly “axe”!

But he played it/them like a maestro :sign_of_the_horns:

100%. Been to a few shows since their return but this was probably the best.

Me too, its the WWW, fed up with those saying we dined at Johnson’s, utterly useless, i bet there are members from 50 countries on here. Especially the that london brigade, utterly meaningless. I visit 15 countries a year.

A similar issue appears frequently on other threads, particularly Nice Photos. I too have visited/worked in numerous countries so I do like to know what I am looking at and where it is. An apparently undistinguished building or an unidentified landscape don’t mean much to me.

Third this week: Pulp at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena.

Wednesday evening, Santana at the OVO Hydro, Glasgow. A gig full of positive energy, joy and wonderful musicianship. A spectacular light show and incredible UHD screen all contributed to it being a really immersive experience - having a good seat no doubt helped too!

Cheers,

Ian

There were two kits and two further sets of congas last night, so four drummers on stage. And yes, it was a great concert!
