One of a trio of records recorded at the Salt Peanuts Club, Koln in 1981 I already own the much rarer My Funny Valentine but am still on the lookout for a copy of I Remember You.

I don’t often do this sort of thing (buying a stack of records all from the same artist), but Burning Shed records were doing a deal, and I’ve been bingeing on Section 25’s catalogue recently.

Curiously as it’s recorded during the same concert by the same record company this sounds markedly better than My Funny Valentine which is the much rarer record too, maybe it’s the pressing plant as they where released a year a part.
The third record released from these dates in 1984 I Remember You is rarer still and at present I don’t own hopefully thought it’s just a matter of time before one turns up.

Nala Sinephro - Space 1.8, Warp Records (2021)
I actually prefer Space 1.8 to the follow up Endlessness though both are excellent and the streams of both sound excellent on Tidal so I held back on buying the vinyl unless good priced copies turned up this brand new copy was £22 inc postage .
It’s a decent enough pressing but doesn’t improve massively on the Tidal stream it is though nice to own a physical copy. An excellent line up featuring Jake Long, Nubya Garcia and Rudi Creswick all of who have released records under their own names and top musicians Shirley Tetteh, James Mollison and Lyle Barton.

Pick these up in our local little record store, $10 each and all in excellent condition after a wash. One of those delightful finds of some old gems.
Very pleased with The Turn of a Friendly Card, as I was about to buy the rather expensive Speakers Corner copy new. This one looks to be a first NZ pressing - the classic thin vinyl that just sounds rather perfect, with a great detail and dynamics - very crankable 
- seriously this is a reference quality recording and great music, side 2 is classic territory. The Gold Bug benefits from some serious wellie 
Eve is an unexpected delight, not so popular in the reviews, but I really like it and it’s another classic Parson’s recording.
Yet to play the Jon & Vangelis one.

Goodness me what a recording - comes to life on vinyl, absolutely sensational
Only downside you lose 2 tracks from CD and streaming but it’s worth it
And a little nice plus there’s a photo of her with her mum and dad - great touch

44th Move - Anthem, Black Acre (2025)
Alfa Mist and Richard Spaven first came together as 44th Move back in 2020 with an excellent self titled 5 track EP this new release Anthem is their debut Lp and it too is excellent.
If you know Alfa Mist’s music you will recognise his influence all over these tracks but Richie Spaven imo one of the most talented young drummers around really elevates it.
Excellent pressing and sound too all in all A1.
