When I open or close my AirPods the music stops

Does anyone else have this issue.

I think that this is limited to when I use Roon RAAT. I will post there as well.

Yes that’s fine ? I use my Airpod Pros with my PC a lot & when my wife is in the room I put my AirPod Pros on & the sound from the PC only comes through them until I put the AirPod Pros away I think that is normal so you don’t have a problem it’s just getting to understand them.

Thanks. It seems a bit odd that using my AirPods with my phone, which is not connected to any of the 4 music devices, should over ride all of them?

Aha but you have given me an idea and you are correct in that it is understanding how they work. I have Roon open on both my phone and may laptop, using them as remotes. As soon as I close Roon on the two devices I no longer have the problem.

I have the server on a Mini Mac and clients on all my devices so I can easily access my music wherever I am in the house
