It doesn’t have to be shaky; if they have bass like my Linn Kan Mk1, which I had, I’d be very happy. It’s said that early models might have a lack of bass. I don’t remember what year my first Nsats were; they were 2007 (2004-2011~).

My SBLs sound fantastic with a Nait50. That is with near Klimax level LP12 in a 3,5x4,0 m room with sturdy wood walls and laminate floor on concrete. Before the Nait50 I almost bought a freshly serviced 52/SC/2x135 combo. In hindsight I’m glad I didn’t.

Nice set! I have to concede that my SBL sound pretty amazing in my 4.5x3 mtr office on the end of a Unitiserve/NDX/Nait50. I keep thinking i should try my 82/SC/250.2 in here from my bigger system, then i listen to it and think, no need.

82 HiCap 250 all olive with SBLs is my suggestion, or some CB or OC mixed in. Source NDS and 555PS or similar and a nice LP12 for vinyl!

555 Amp? It doesn’t exist. 555 PSDR is a power supply for NDX2, NDS and ND555.
These are available on the used market at substantially less.

I do believe there is a 555PSDR power supply. I did not know that there was an amp or amplifier?
Anyhow, a 555PSDR power supply is quite a thing and adds massive benefits to a number of Naim sources. It can be used on many including:
CDS, CDS2, CDS3, CD555, CDX, CDX2, ND5XS, NDX, NDX2, NDS, CD555, NDX2, ND555, NSC222, and all the NC gear I believe.
It is a superb power supply and worth every penny! It’s meant to be better than the 300NPX.
I hope this clarifies things.
