Some as me use different brands in the same time. For me it’s 2 Audioquest Diamonds and 1 Epic.

Exactly, I use 2 brands for streaming and another different 2 along the router and switch connections. And only 1 brand I use is listed

Also, outside of the HiFi a AudioQuest Cinnamon from EtherREGEN A ports to AppleTV Media server (does it make a difference, well try moving from WiFi to wired, with quality cables and a good switch for optimised PQ on Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Paramount+ content).

I avoid sending music pver ethernet. Store-renderer to DAC is currently USB, I don’t recall the brand but it was not boutiqie.

Which Cisco Gateway Router are you using?
A RV340, which I know is EOL and no-longer getting updates. But has all the Remote Management capabilities switched off. It still passes all External Vulnerabilities scans, which I perform monthly on my external IP address. But it does 1Gbps Firewall/NAT throughput with IPS.

So far, it’s the best combination of cables I’ve found. As much as I love what the Sigma does (it’s an absolute belter!), I believe it needs another ethernet cable upstream with different sonic attributes to complement it and complete the magic. In the case of the Sarum, it adds a lovely dollop of low end energy to the combination and possibly also a little bit of midrange density.
Slightly off-topic but I’m also now convinced that the EE8 with a good LPS (essential!) does wonders specifically for achieving a more organic vinyl-like sound. In the past I’ve not always appreciated how critical it is in that regard, but I get it now and really value it.

I am experimenting with a C1117 4p which has a DSL Modem and an SFP port for LAN. Quite complex to setup….sorry, also off topic…

FS (not fscables). Have used them professionally as well. No nonsense and tested to spec.
Shunyata Alpha from NAS to EE8/Faraday LPS, then Shunyata Omega from switch to streamer
Very content after periods starting with Chord C stream, then Audioquest Vodka.
No plans to go any further with the ethernet set up.

Leviton SST cat6, use them at work so bring some home.
It is utterly impossible for any UTP ethernet cable that meets the ISO/IEC 11801 class/cat standards to sound different to any other cable of the same type and standard.

I bought a DAC (direct attached copper) cable there to try between 2 Meraki switches. Big improvement over fiber and Ethernet and it was only €12.
The idea is that you bypass the PHY chip and use a lot less power (less pollution in the switch) when you use a DAC cable compared to Ethernet or fiber.
