Hi all, It looks like my repair to my Naim CD5xs has been a success so I’m interested in adding a Flatcap, but which one ?
A FC 2 x seems the obvious choice and fairly cheap to get serviced.
There are others and cheaper too but I’d like to know more of the other options if anyone has had any experience with them.

In my view the Flatcap XS is as good as it gets.
I’d agree, though if possible I’d listen first.
To my ears putting a FlatCap XS on my CD5XS and Nait XS produced a noticeable, albeit fairly subtle, improvement in the sound. Whether a FCXS just on the CD player is VFM I’m less sure. A nDAC on the other hand …..

I’d get whichever Flatcap has the same fascia finish as the CD player.
