Which power cable for SCM40A

Which power cable are you using on your active ATC SCM40 / 50 and what effect did you notice?

Titan Audio Helios. I have 4 Helios and 1 Helios Signature in my system now.

My experience was immediately positive: increased clarity, leading edge attack.

Helios are not overly expensive, especially when you can get them on offer as I did.

They are difficult to get outside of the UK. It’s a pity cause they get great reviews.

I use Tellurium Q Black on my 40As, I like them better than the stock cables.

I use Puritan Audio classic cables but have replaced the iec’s with furutech and the mains plug with MS HD plugs.

Take a look at Shunyata. They have new entry level cables Gamma and Theta… I’m using Gamma’s on my REL Subs.

Anyone tried the Audioquest Thunder cable?

I’ve had one but. It’s stiff like ****. I’d recommend Puritan Ultimate. Or why not Naim Powerline.

When i had a demo of the 40a’s the shop used powerlines. I would have bought some, but i wanted to use 90 degree plugs.

I happily use Wireworld Stratus 7, nice improvement on the aperture, clarity without aggressiveness or highlighted treble and bass deeper and tense, excellent for the price…

I use powerlines, never really compared them to others though….
