Which wine are you drinking? Tell us about it

Well I wouldn’t go as far as coke mate - that’s on a par

Maybe go up a notch to Blue Nun ha:crazy_face::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Ok Pete thank you very much for looking

:slightly_frowning_face:

It seems only to be available in Singapore, no-one is even listing it in Australia (according to winesearcher):

https://www.wine-searcher.com/find/little+eden+co+muscat+murray+darling+new+south+wales+australia?Xcurrencycode=GBP&Xsavecurrency=Y

I would be pretty confident that Innocent Bystander tastes similarl and that is widely available (the pink one shows up in the search as well, but they make a white)

But you can search various alternatives in winesearcher (and change your country/currency to suit)
Happy hunting !

That confused me until I read the next line and realised it was a wine brand,p. @Innocent_Bystander

Me too

In 2006 after my company fired me - (in a particularly brutal way) - a letter of apology and a cheque for £5000 followed

I wandered in to our local wine shop and bought two bottles , for £50 each,

The bottles were Penfolds Bin 707 , vintage 2002 . They are worth a tad more now

Still upstairs in the wine fridge - dunno when they will be imbibed

PS That too was at Oddbins

Wherever it’s available Rod it wouldn’t taste that great

Not on my shopping list

I’m really curious about that alcohol free Blue Nun, it seems to be available in the UK (red, white and sparkling), I have a terrible feeling that I may wake up one day and remember ordering them to taste after a bottle or two of red. (My kitchen drain needs a clean anyway.)

Thanks Rod - shame it seems to have disappeared we quite enjoyed - will have a look for Innocent Bystander - and yes my first thought was I’ve seen that naim somewhere

And I thought I recognised it as a drink as well - and yes lo and behold it’s the drink that replaced Little Eden on P&O’s Glass House Wine List and we did try it but weren’t as keen! I don’t suppose you’ve any other suggestions?
Sorry to be a pain!

Ah… the Glass House on P&O Britannia - another 54 days and we’ll be there - lovely!

Bog off - I’ve fallen out with P & O - long story - short version - We were due to go on Iona’s maiden voyage which was of course cancelled (and it tied in with my birthday) re-booked three times - all cancelled - then pressured into booking a fourth time - so Canaries Xmas 2021 Ventura - then told can’t go because I was exempt re face masks (health grounds) - so I was forced into cancelling and lost money into the bargain - not all I hasten to add but it was the principal!!

ps still would love to go cruising! :disappointed:  :sob:

Agreed - we can’t wait. Sounds like you’ve had a rough run with cancellations etc. - not good.

Yes it was all a bit of a pain tbh - in the end we went to Gairloch in Scotland for xmas - stayed in a very nice s/c apartment and had a nice fillet steak with a couple of bottles of Cannonball CabSav for xmas lunch and stared across the to Isle of Skye without a cloud in the Skye!!!

Cannonball & fillet steak - two of my favourites! :+1:

Yes ours too…

Both brought about by P&O ironically…

Cannonball on our first cruise with P&O- tried others but always came back to that.

Fillet Steak - came from tasting “chateaubriand” in epicurean restaurant on board Arcadia and normally at home that’s the way I cook it - ie as one large piece then cut at table. Had to slum it at Xmas tho couldn’t quite get all the trimmings and wasn’t fully sure on cooking equipment available!

:cut_of_meat: & :wine_glass: went down a treat!

I would suggest sometime in the next 3-4 years. CellarTracker suggests the drinking window goes to 2026.
