How safe though? Service or repair of an Aro sounds like it could be a problem if anything went wrong…
No I think J7 of Audio Origami would be able to sort it he’s re-wired the Aro before. He also makes the arm rest which are for sale through Cymbiosis, I’ve had an Aro since 2004 so if I had a problem that’s the man I would trust.

New unipivots have been announced by Talk Electronics - two models, one with aluminium armtube, the other with carbon fibre tube. One at £350, the other at £600. Made in UK.
They look interesting. Look forward to seeing reports of their performance.
