Just in case you are confused between plugs and sockets.
The female socket is the part on the power lead.
The male plug is the part on the Naim box

Yes Live is Left on the ‘Male’
It’s the same for every electrical device on the planet, it’s an international (IEC) standard.
I’d be inclined to answer with a question. Why do you need to know? All IEC mains leads are wired for conformity and if you make your own, the inside of the male plug is clearly labelled in some way.
In my field of work, I often get seemingly innocent technical queries from customers which are easy to answer but often send alarm bells ringing as I think, hmmm what exactly are you trying to do?
