Worst /funny album covers

Plenty of “questionable” album covers, though I would classify them as of their day not as bad. Ones that immediately come to mind include Blind Faith’s self-titled album and Hendrix’s Electric Ladyland, neither of which I wiuld dare let my parents see when got tgem, still a teenager living at home. A few others fall into a similar category, perhaps including the Scorpions’ Lovedrive. There was also Bow Wow Wow’s album See Jungle, but compare to the others it was tame.
Then there’s the Edgar Broughton Band’s eponymous album, displaying cow carcasses in an abattoir, which these days might offend the vegetarian-vegan movement.

I’ve yet to recall an actually bad cover…

Scorpions’ Virgin Killer is probably the worst, even compared to Blind Faith.

Both of those are well-known fakes, the “Loretta Fudge” being a particularly poor one.

I love Bowie but this is a shocker.

Regardless of intent there’s no excuse for that cover. It’s not art it’s exploitation and should never have been approved in the first place.
