My father paseed on 4 years ago today so waking up feeling sad and reflective
Amongst a love of gardening fine food and travel he used to love music especially classical and was a big Beatles and Pink Floyd fan.
Sergeant Pepper was a favourite and when we used to listen to a Day In The Life together when I would visit and he would always go " He blew his mind out in a car "โฆ
So I thought I would post this and share my thoughts as you only have 1 dad.
He was complex and had fall outs with my sisters and was alcholic but will chersish my memories of him

Its only when you lose a parent that you realise what you had and what you miss
What you could have done better in the past but its hard when you had your own adult life to deal with and your own responsibilities .

Rediscovered a couple of days ago now I canโt stop streaming it and annoyingly itโs still in my head when Iโm trying to go to sleep. Itโs lyrics are even more relevant today, Iโm sure his dad would be have been proud.
