Crikey, @TheKevster that’s a blast from the past! I have a 12” single by Prince Charles and the City Beat Band. It still has its price sticker on - £2.29 at Virgin Records. The A side is More Money and the B side is Don’t Fake the Funk and Heavy Duty Booty. I’m not quite sure why I bought it - I don’t have anything else by them; perhaps I saw them live on a TV programme.
I’ve not heard that much of his latest stuff Beachcomber, but I like this.
