Not one of the “Dirty Dozen” but a 1940’s WWll Cortebert Extra GSTP supplied to the British Forces.
That’s really nice, I’ll look out for that in the flesh. I like the colour of the hands, brings a nice extra dimension. I was very tempted with a watch in that range last year - tried it on and spent a good half an hour considering, but decided it was too pricey for me for an impulse buy. The fact that I’m thinking about it though, maybe I should revisit!
I tried this one:
Co axial is nice, but it’s not a real Speedmaster (that you can wear in space) .
But it is still lovely.
I didn’t buy this piece as a nod to being the watch of going to the moon. That means absolutely nothing to me.
I bought this piece because I liked it…
Having departed in mid August to Madrid for some TLC, my Geophysic is back. While I was a tad miffed that it was gaining 15 seconds a day, which should not have passed the retailer threshold before it was sold, it’s had a full JLC approved service and should now be good to go for a few years. The accuracy is really good, just a couple of seconds a day, so it’s all worked out fine.
Thats a beautiful watch… I’ve recently put down a 30% deposit on the new Master Control Chronomètre Date Power Reserve thats been released recently. I take delivery of the watch in February… I really can’t wait
That MC Chronometre is a beautiful watch and the pick of the bunch of the new integrateds for me. If I had the wherewithal I’d love one.
That is very nice Tony!
Very nice. I am considering getting its successor the HBF001. What is your wrist size? does it wear well? They are quite thick.
I got a 17cm it wears well , all seiko divers got short lug to lug that makes them wearable for even thinner wrists. I also have the sla021 which is all different beast, thick but still wearable unlike chunky Tudors. New one comes with adjustable clasp which will make it a better fit. There are many good options for a black diver this is one of them for sure !
Lovely. I do like old Sekondas.
