OK…thanks. The double Fraim base looks very cool.
Congrats on your purchase, Mitch. Looking forward to your impressions. I’m much enjoying the scotch talk as well. Cheers from AZ.
Thanks for your well wishes. More than a little bit, I too am looking forward to my impressions. I’m guessing by March…
We’re getting some snow flurries right now in NY; I suspect that in Arizona, you are not.
If your dealer can borrow you an HRS platform, you could try. Or stillpoints isolation devices.
Worth to try.
After all, quick A/B-ing between different feet should not be an issue with the Statement
Apart your back
I guess it depends on how much we bench-press
Or Mitch should try something like that
It would be really sad if a set of 700 euro feet made them better by the way. Frankly if I were to buy an S1, I’d expect Naim to make it work out of the box
Yeah…I think some of you guys should come over and help me lift up the statements to try 4 or 5 different stabilizing feet. I’ll be sure serve the proper Scottish lubrication.
Now we talk !
I might be able to help. It happens I bench press quite a lot…
I checked your pictures and couldn’t find any Laphroaig. Not a fan of peated malts?
Nice pick FR: it’s red so it could be put in a corner of Mitch’s listening room and nobody would notice
Claude
You guys crack me up, especially about the red forklift.
I have had a few bottles of various Laphroaigs before. As I’ve mentioned (much) earlier in this thread, I’m generally not that much of a peat guy, but sometimes it hits the spot, especially with a cigar. I do like the Laphroaig Quarter Cask. I’ve never had a really old Laphroaig, like a 25 or 30 yr.
BTW…I’m glad to see we’ve drifted back to Statements and scotch. Not sure how this got diverted to New Zealand! LOL
THAT looks very interesting!! Is it as good as it looks?
How many harpsichords can you lift with one hand, Thomas?
I have a 21 yr Jura which is very good, but I’ve not seen the 30.
