Hi
I find pipe cleaners, the ones designed for smoking pipes!! are perfect for speaker sockets.

Ah so that what those are for. Now I’m able to find them. Thanks.

I didn’t insinuate you are a Dunce. Qtips are fine if you can see if any fluff has been left behind. I just wouldn’t use them inside any female connectors where one can’t as easily determine if fluff is left behind😊

You do know who Neil is?

Pipe cleaners are I have found much more useful.
Indeed a few are bundled along with some well known cleaning fluids.
Particularly in bending them to wrap around something or doubled over to achieve a particular thickness for a positive penetration.

Zumio x spirotip.
Has a little protruding actuator that jiggy jiggies.
Perhaps dipped in some product before getting in there ?

No need to over think things here - this is all that’s required

Yes Mr. Guinness. I certainly do. I also know for an absolute fact no one is perfect.

No problem Mr Soup.

Speaker sockets cleaned with Autosol. Autosol removed from speaker sockets with IPA.

Speaker plugs cleaned with IPA. Simple.
.

Blimey

Must admit, it wouldnt have occurred to me to use Autosol as it’s a paste. But that is a lot of grunge!
(How many months/years’ worth?)

Would Anusol work?
